My first one

I had written something really smart and witty for my first blog, but I hit the wrong button and erased it all and I just don't have the energy to go back and type it all. Hopefully that is not a premonition about the future of this blog. Hopefully people will be entertained by my shallow thoughts in the coming days, months and years.
